The Schwinn’s 231 recumbent exercise bike is a new model from Schwinn’s and general changes and improvements were made from the previous models. Changes like the computer actually remembers the settings (resistance, workout programme and etc) that you last left it so you don’t need to reset everything when you use it again. It’s a very quiet bike because of the magnetic resistance and unlike some other recumbent bike the fan actually blows at the right place but not too hard so your eyes don’t get dry.

Schwinn 213 Recumbent Exercise Bike Price est. $449.00

The Schwinn 213 is almost the same with the 231 except for quality. Many people has a E – 2 error problem with the 213 because of manufacturing problem. The LCD screen is also impossible to read while sitting on the 213, the angle is obviously designed for an upright exercise bike.

Other than that if you’re lucky you could get the 213 flawless like many did and have a recumbent bike with almost the same feature with the $100 more expensive 231.

The only thing that the 213 doesn’t have compared to the 231 is BioDyne, a computer controlled riding system that gives you a lot smoother ride and doesn’t shake even at high speed.

Schwinn 201 Recumbent Exercise Bike Price est. $299.00

The Schwinn’s 201 is a good buy if you don’t mind if the calorie, heart and distance count is all screwed up. Plus its not as comfortable as 213 and 231 because this bike doesn’t have Bio Fit technology which is a technology that makes sure that your butt, foot and back is as comfortable as possible by allowing all the contact points to fit nicely. Riding the 201 is also noisier that the previous two model sometimes (you get random noise)

But if you’re looking for value for money the 201 is worth it, like I said you get what you paid for.
